I'm closing in on being ready to post another 'Virginia War' document, specifically a preliminary readout on the Union military(!). However, while I've managed to gouge some Russian translations out of a fellow in Krasnoyarsk(!) by e-mail, I'm having a little trouble securing translations of unit-names and other military-related terms into the Cuban/Caribbean dialect of Spanish, if such a creature exists. (My working reference for the Ensenadan dialect/accent is Puerto Rican actress/hottie Roselyn Sanchez.
)
I'm pretty sure that Google-Translate and the translation website I use (InterTran) are, at best, indifferently coded, and their ability to sense context puts me in mind of a lobotomised chimp trying to recite psalms, so I'm not about to trust them on these things.
If anyone's willing and able to help me out with this, I'm eager to receive your PM....
