 ==Overview:==
 Why break the wheel? Go with what you know. The Needletail produced on Hon Hu by LexaTexh is twice the size of their previous design the Stinger and adds new challenges.

 ==Capabilities:==
 40 tons and a LAM the Needletail used modern weight saving and weaponry to allow it to keep pace with most light Mechs on the ground and out shoot many of them while also being maneuverable in the air. it also has a powerful punch with its Multi Missile Launcher and Medium Lasers while its TAG allows for devastating artillery support.

 ==Deployment:==
 Elite DCMS and DEST units are the only ones to field this Mech.

 ==Variants:==
 Removing a medium laser or smaller missile launcher is common for larger pilots. due to the Modular nature of the MML5 it has led to multiple variants. In Mech mode the Launcher appears above right of head with the Launcher and Ammo encased in a single unit attached to the Mech's back almost like a stinging tail. in Aerospace mode this Launcher appears above the wings precluding the space being used as a bomb bay.

 ==Battle History:==
 While not a battle one of the prototypes of this LAM was stolen by a test pilot and smuggled off world. sources believe this pilot is now working with the Bounty Hunter.
