Press Release from the Office of the Captain-General of the Free Worlds League

Citizens of the inner sphere I can today announce that the Captain-General of the Free Worlds League, in an effort to reassure the Chancellor and people of the Capellan Confederation that we have no desire for any renewed conflict between our two nations, today has asked the Director-General of the Terran Hegemony to garrison the border between our two nations.

As such once the HAF units have arrived on station the FWLM units currently deployed on those worlds will pull back to interior worlds of the Free Worlds League, the FWLM will then give an undertaking not to return to or cross those systems unless the League has first been attacked by the CCAF.

While this is not the Geneva Treaty of old, it is a first step to securing a permanent peace between the Free Worlds League and the Capellan Confederation.
