Joint Statement Finmark Federation and Terran Hegemony

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today after several months of negotiations Finmark announces a mutual defence treaty with the Terran Hegemony.  With this agreement Finmark stands by the Terran Hegemony should an attack fall on either Finmark Federation or the Terran Hegemony's respective territories each of our nations will assist in the defence of the other.

Additionally I can announce that the Terran Hegemony has negotiated for and been granted permanent garrison rights to the world of Port Vail.  The Terran Hegemony is welcome to gather and to build on this world as they see fit, the people of Port Vail will find this agreement equally agreeable as from this date forward they will be eligible to gain both Finmark Federation and Terran Hegemony citizenship after background checks are completed.
