Well, since I currently live in Dallas, I'll take it -- where is the canon material?

TRO3075 and a few other places. I believe it also appears in a Battlecorps story. It is the abandoned world that had the Hegemony cache which when discovered led to the introduction of RetroTech.

The BattleCorps story is called Forgotten Worlds.  Mentions the world collapsed into an Ice Age following the loss of climate control during the fall of the Star League.

Cool. If I find the time, I'm definitely interested. I'd love to see the system I'm working on included. Arda is located in former Terran Hegemony space, but fell off the maps completely during the Amaris Crisis. Believed to be a dead world, it actually scraped by just enough to start a recovery.

And shows why each is now a dead world.  Amaris would have hit them with all sorts of Nukey love, then the SLDF and Amaris forces smash them up in big ass battle of liberation and then the Successor Lords strip them and fight over the carcass until the worlds are of no value to anyone.

Mean Temperature:
Climate: Tropical Moist Climate
Average temperature: 23 °C (73°F)
Annual Precipitation: 262 cm. (103 in.)
Plentiful large bodies of water keep the air moist and humid, while violent weather, hurricanes and lesser tropical storms,
ravage the costal regions and deliver upwards of 203 days of rain a year to inland regions.
The total annual rainfall is often more than 250 cm. (100 in.). There are seasonal differences in monthly rainfall but
temperatures of 23°C (80°F) mostly stay the same. Humidity is between 70 and 80%. High surface heat and humidity cause cumulus
clouds to form early in the afternoons, causing it to rain almost every day.
Temperatures soar early into the spring, and while plentiful rainfall accompanies the warmer weather, the more violent storms
generally remain at bay until the waning
months of the season. Summer and autumn bring the worst of the seasonal weather, where violent storms can spend two weeks or more
exhausting themselves upon the coast.
The arrival of winter heralds the arrival of calmer weather for the coast and milder 16 ºC to 20 ºC days. It also rains a lot in the winter.

Primary and Secondary School
Almost every person of New Dallas has a primary and secondary education, although this high educational rate was almost
completely destroyed during the Amaris occupation. This situation has been corrected since the end of the Amaris years on New Dallas
through the rebuilding and reestablishment of the pre Amaris education system.
For those who’s education was interrupted by the occupation special programs were instituted by the New Dallas government
to allow them to make up for this lost school time if they so wished. To the people of New Dallas’s credit almost 95% of people who
lost education time due to the occupation have at least returned to finish there secondary education, of the 5% who did not return 3.5%
now serve in the New Dallas Military and will finish their education in the service.
College and Universities
Alamo Combat School of New Dallas (ACS)
Built in 2412, the Combat School was the first military school established on New Dallas. The school prides itself on being
equal to any academy anywhere in the Terran Hegemony. To prove their worth, the graduating warrior and pilot cadets always
challenge the best graduates from many other Hegemony academies to a military contest. This tradition lasted until the Amaris Coup at
which time it was put on hold, but never forgotten. In that year the students year end exams came early for all schools, as they fought
for their lives against Amaris troops. The school is this year graduating its first class since the end of the Amaris Coup.
New Houston Flight Center (NHFC)
This university concentrates on the care and running of commercial spaceships. Because of this the university is divided into
two separate campuses. The planet side campus serves a the main academic center and an orbiting space station serves as the hands on
jumpship and dropship training center.
The NHFC also host the aerospace pilot hands on training portion of the ACS’s combat pilot training.
(Note) Although the campus in New Houston survived the war against Amaris, the orbital facility was severely damaged. Which has
taken several years and a considerable amount of resources to repair. The
NHFC will be accepting students for the next semester and resuming full operations within that academic year.
New Dallas University ( Four Main Campus Locations)
New Dallas University, which celebrated its 300th anniversary in 2767, is the oldest institution of higher learning in on New
Dallas. Founded 13 years after the arrival of the “Americans“ on New Dallas, the University has grown from 200 students with a 10
professors to an enrollment of more than 15,000 students, including undergraduates through doctorate students . An additional 13,000
students are enrolled in one or more courses in the four New Dallas University Extension Schools located around New Dallas. Over
14,000 people are employed by the university, including more than 5,000 faculty.
After the Amaris Coup one of New Dallas’s main focuses was laying the foundations for renewal that will be necessary to
return New Dallas University to its place at the top of the Terran Hegemony’s excellent educational system. The University has made
numerous changes directed at providing the best educational experience for students regardless of financial circumstances.

History:
By the 2350s the Terran Hegemony was firmly established, with a new Director-General at its helm. With a desire to continue
remaking the Terran Hegemony along James McKenna’s vision of a “repository of all mankind’s knowledge and compassion,”
Michael Cameron instituted numerous programs, but three are the most significant.
The first was the creation of the Hegemony Research Alliance Department. The efficiency of the program and the Director-
General’s commitment of the entire state to the advancement of science would see
the Hegemony lead the Inner Sphere in technology for centuries to come. His second grand reformation, in 2351, was the re-institution
of the nobility system from medieval Terra; this system eventually swept
the Inner Sphere and become the de facto system of rule (albeit with myriad flavors). His final project, started in 2353 and often
ignored by most histories, was to restart colonization within his own borders; since
Cameron was no longer willing to wage war to acquire planets, colonization was the only available means of growth. Yet the vast
majority of easily settled worlds in the region were long since taken. With the knowledge obtained through the successful terraforming
of Mars and Venus, however, colonization of previously ignored, marginally habitable worlds began. This ensured that the vast
terraforming workforce not only remained employed but expanded.
While the forward-thinking James McKenna and Michael Cameron won over the lion’s share of Terra’s population despite
the dismantling of previous nations (or perhaps because of it—Terrans had grown sick of two centuries of Alliance abuse), some local
regions managed to retain their collective cultures. While not actively anti-Hegemony, the old USA remained one such region. In an
effort to appease the perception that ancient cultures were being steam-rolled—while likely secretly hoping the move would finally
eliminate old-fashioned nationalism—Michael Cameron allowed a large portion of those same citizens to choose worlds he would
“turn into paradises.” New Dallas was founded in 2354, colonized primarily by a USA sub region called Texas.
The carrot approach became an institution in Hegemony bureaucracy. As citizens of New Dallas (and a few others) stubbornly
refused to abandon their Americentric culture, the Hegemony continued efforts to bind the world to itself. This included ensuring the
world’s militia was one of the first in the Hegemony—outside of the HAF—to obtain BattleMechs. As modern BattleMechs reached
full production, New Dallas received allotments of those designs. In a gesture typical of an era where BattleMechs were rare and
valuable, New Dallas built a large “bone yard” bunker and mothballed the ancient designs instead of scrapping older machines when
bequeathed new ones.
Current:
New Dallas’s loyalty toward the Hegemony was strong, which was made even stronger during the time of the Amaris Coup.
New Dallas due to it’s cutting-edge military machines put up an extremely dogged defense against Amaris troops, being on of the last
Hegemony planets to fall to Amaris. Even after their occupation by Amaris troops the militia and citizens established a stiff resistance.
During this time of occupation New Dallas managed to keep the biggest secret they had the hidden “bone yard” bunker.
After the liberation from Amaris forces New Dallas like all other Hegemony planets waited to see what was going to happen.
During this waiting the government and people of New Dallas went into over drive rebuilding and preparing so what the went through
would never happen again. They made a major effort to inventory the bunker, discovering that it contained everything from infantry
fighting knives to tactical nuclear weapons.
Within a few the announcement of the formation of the Terran Republic was made to the people of the old Terran Hegemony.
After announcement the population of New Dallas was one the first to through their full support behind Amanda Cameron’s new
republic.
New Dallas thanks to its access of cutting-edge military machines and mothballed ancient designs, has been able to establish
it’s self as military presence to be reckoned with if House Marik or Steiner should decide to challenge the new Terran republic.
