Me-262
« on: February 23, 2014, 02:19:10 PM »

Following my intent to make a jock column and after reading a military history magazine today, I tried to create the Me-262 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Me_262) following the Support Vehicle Construction Rules but I didn't really manage to get a good thing of it (or I had to go up to tech level D, which is a bit too much from my point of view).

Can anyone make a better job than I did?

"Tech level" is a bit relative to the time period, no? Being tech level E in the SL era doesn't mean they have access to C3i networks or anything, afterall. :)

I would say they're an E or F during the second world war.

But if you look at TRO 1945, all the primitives in it are tech level B

Yeah but it was a joke TRO to begin with. I doubt any heavy thought was put into it being a "realistic" source of gaming.

And could anyone help me get the slots thing?

If I put 4 Recoilless Rifles, some ammo, 2 RL and 2 Hardpoints, how much slots do I use?

So here is my take on the Me-262.

Let me know if it is right (especially for the slots)

Chassis Weight: 1t
Safe Speed: 5
Flank Speed: 8
Engine Weight: 3.5t

Armour BAR 5: 15 points 0.5t
2 Heavy Recoiless Rifes (Nose) 1t
Ammo (2,500) 0.5t
4 RL 5 (2 in each Wing) 0.5t
